All Wacko Kayaking Trips
Wacko will pick your party up at your hotel or campsite at 6:00am in the Summer months & 7AM in the winter months, we supply ice chest and dry bags for each kayak, we recommend that you bring plenty of drinking water, ice, snacks, lunch, cell phone, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses, we have single and double kayaks and canoes to choose from, sit on top in the summer and sit inside in the winter.

Topock Gorge Trip
We shuttle your party to Topock Marina 30 miles from Lake Havasu City where you begin your 14-mile journey down the Colorado River through the Topock Gorge, you may see Javalina, Bobcats, Coyotes, Beavers and a number of interesting birds. You can stop at Picture Rock to see the Indian Petroglyphs, next you will pass our famous Sandbar at Blankenship Bend, feel free to stop at any of the beaches to explore or rest. Wacko will pick your group up at Castle Rock located in Crystal Beach, this trip takes five to seven hours depending on how much relaxing or exploring you want to do.

Castle Rock Mesquite Bay
Mesquite Bay / Castle Rock This is a nice 5 mile paddle takes about 2 hours on the water, the nice part about this trip is we can launch you from Mesquite Bay and you paddle to Castle Rock if the wind is from the south and if the wind is from the north we will launch Castle Rock and you can paddle to Mesquite Bay, pack a lunch and stop at one of the coves for a nice picnic. Cost of this trip is $35.00 per person

Bill Williams Wildlife Refuge
Wacko will shuttle your group to the kayak launch ramp loaced at the Wildlife Refuge Center in Parker, Arizona just 15 miles south of Lake Havasu. This is an easier paddle than the Topock Gorge, and you paddle about 2 miles past the Bill Williams Bridge between the reeds, down to the willow and cottonwood trees. This trip is calm, serene, peaceful and beautiful. 288 species of birds just below the refuge headquarters lies a cove where razorbacks suppers and bony tail chubs are raised. You may see Javalina, deer, beavers, and even bobcats. When the river comes to an end, just sit back and enjoy the sites and sounds of the true outdoors. Now just turn around and enjoy everything again on the way out. This trip takes 3 to 4 hours or spend the whole day. Trips include kayaks, shuttle, and all the equipment. Min. of 4 people.

Full Moon Trips
Each month Wacko has a full moon trip Topock Gorge or Bill Williams wildlife refuge. All night trips are guided with our experienced guide. Hear the sounds of the nocturnal animals and see the beavers. This is a great experience.

Lake Havasu
Wacko will meet you at Rotary Park. If you would like to paddle around the Island (about 5 miles) or through the Channel and along the beach, or if you would like a little less traffic, we will meet you or shuttle your party to Mesquite Bay a few miles north of London Bridge Road. Remember, you have the kayak for the entire day, so have a great time.
